How can a self-preprogrammed AI be used to teach a robot to interact with the environment?

On Friday, September 30, the time has finally come again: after a 2-year break, the 16th Youth University Action Day took place again. 1.700 pupils of all school types, from 4th grade elementary school to the graduating classes of AHS, BHS and polytechnic schools, all over Tyrol were welcomed at the University of Innsbruck Campus Technik.
A variety of institutes and laboratories offered insight into current research in a vivid and exciting way and highlighted different research questions. Our STAIR Lab was one of those fourty science stations. Once again we showed how one can train an image classification AI and how it can be used to teach a robot to interact with the environment.
